Today we got the chance to make and edit a draft music video, just so that we would get the gist of the steps it takes in order to make one, and to become familiar with Adobe Premier Pro for when it come to use in A2.
There are many things that we definitely learnt whilst making this music video including:
- Not to zoom in and out of the camera as it looks messy and unprofessional. Still shots are a much better choice for next time.
- Not to make the whole video black and white, and only to do it where it fits nicely as in this situation, we just did it for the sake of it.
- Not to upload the video with the exact same sound of the song, because as you can see in this video, there was a copyright issue, resulting in the video being muted by YouTube.
- We need to use lots of different locations and different outfits in order to make it look interesting as we didn't have time in this video.

Camera workshop
Today in lesson we learnt how to set the camera in order to film our music videos, depending on locations and the time in the day.
Settings
- 1080P This is HD check every times before using it as it may be changed 25fps (1920 x 1080)
Exposure Control
- Shutter speed this changes the shutter to make it like lighter or darker (shut speed for film is always 50)
- Aperture this is a ring between the lens and it affects the depth of focus (different focus)
- ISO - the lighting
- Q this is in the box on the right side of the camera picture style which is found on the Q menu.
- The white balance should be AWB
- Filming should be manual focus (MF near the ring of the lens, the ring is used to focus small one is to zoom, big one is to zoom).
